Our 1st Annual Women Veterans Empowerment and Unification Brunch Cruise was a huge success. We had over 190 women veterans to attend the event & Congresswoman Donna Edwards has joined the board of Women Veterans Interactive as an Honorary Board Member!

The Prince George's County Veteran Stand Down and Homeless Resource Day 11/5/11

 

John 14:2, Inc was successful in wining a grant from the Department of Labor to host a Homeless Veteran Stand Down Event. The event was a success. Veterans got services and support they needed while being treated with dignity and respect.

Thank you Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation for donating 50 tickets to John 14:2, Inc! The veterans had a wonderful time at the September 1, 2011 game.

John 14:2, Inc was able to take veterans and their families to a wonderful football game with tickets that was donated to our organization from the Washington Redskins Foundation.. Veterans had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the game while bonding with their family members. For some of the veterans in attendance, this was their first time attending a professional football game.

Senate Press Conference March 2011

When Ginger Miller CEO of John 14:2, Inc was invited to speak at a senate press conference to help save the HUD-VASH Program, she immediately accepted knowing the importance of this program to help end homelessness among veterans.
